Welcome
New to Ardent Seller and not sure where to start? Let's take three minutes and walk the whole app together — from your dashboard, to your inventory, to your sales, to your reports — so the next time you sign in, you know exactly where to go.
The Dashboard
Every time you sign in, you land here on the dashboard. It's your at-a-glance view of the business — recent sales, inventory levels, low-stock alerts, profit margins, top sellers, and a stack of activity feeds. Each tile is a widget, and you control which ones show, how big they are, and what order they're in. Customize it once, and it sticks every time you come back.
Source — Where Stock Comes In
On the left is the sidebar — and it's organized by what you do, not by feature. Source is where you'll find everything you bring into your business. Ingredients and raw materials. Packaging supplies. MRO — that's maintenance, repair, and operations stuff like cleaning supplies. Labor categories you cost out per hour. Your vendors and supplier contacts. And every purchase you log when a box of supplies shows up at your door.
Create — Where You Make Things
Create is where you make things. Subassemblies for parts you build once and reuse later. Equipment — your stand mixer, your pour pots, your label printer — with depreciation tracked automatically. Finished goods you produce in-house. Recipes, which are your bills of materials with auto-costing baked in. Production runs that turn ingredients into product on the shelf. And production transactions that record every batch.
Deliver — Money Out the Door
Deliver is the money-out-the-door side. Products you list and sell. Services you offer alongside them. The customers who buy from you — wholesale shops, market regulars, online buyers — each with their own pricing tier if you want it. And every sale you record, whether it's a cash sale at the farmers market or a wholesale invoice, all flows through here.
Optimize and Measure
Optimize is for keeping things tidy — guided workflows, stocktakes, location transfers, charity donations, waste and loss, and miscellaneous expenses or income. And Measure is the report shelf. Inventory valuation. Profit and loss. Schedule C. Equipment depreciation. Audit trail. Traceability. Whatever number you need at tax time or for a quick gut check, it's all in here.
Settings and Wrap-Up
At the bottom you'll find Settings — locations, team members, custom attributes, transaction methods, tax categories, pricing tiers, and marketplace integrations. That's the full tour. Try Ardent Seller free at ardentseller.app, and subscribe for more walkthroughs of every corner of the app.
