The Etsy connector built fortrue profit tracking

Sync inventory two ways. Import orders with fees and shipping. Publish new listings. Reconcile every payout. All without leaving Ardent Seller.

Included on every plan, including Free. No credit card required.

From spreadsheet to synced in three steps

No CSV exports. No copy-paste reconciliation. No reading raw payment statements.

  1. Connect with one click

OAuth 2.0 with PKCE — sign in to Etsy, approve the scopes, and you’re done. No password sharing. Disconnect any time from Settings.
  2. Sync orders & inventory

Orders import automatically with line items, transaction fees, processing fees, and shipping. Inventory counts push back to Etsy whenever stock changes.
  3. Decide with true profit

Profit & Loss, Sales, and Schedule C reports subtract Etsy fees automatically, so the margin you see is the margin that hits your bank account.

Everything the connector does

One connection, six workflows — all wired to the rest of your inventory, recipes, and reports.

Two-way inventory sync

Push on-hand counts back to Etsy after every stock movement — production runs, wholesale sales, transfers, stocktake adjustments. No more overselling.

Order import with full breakdown

Each Etsy order arrives with its line items, transaction fee, processing fee, and shipping cost — separated, not aggregated.

Listing management

Manage listing state, images, tags, and materials from inside Ardent Seller. One place for every shop you run.

Publish new listings

Take an inventory item and publish it as an Etsy listing without leaving the app — images, materials, and pricing pulled from your existing data.

Marketplace fee tracking

Etsy takes 6.5% transaction + 3% + $0.25 processing per sale. Ardent Seller deducts those automatically so your reported margin is the real margin.

Per-event ledger & analytics

A receipt-by-receipt ledger reconciles cleanly against Etsy’s payment account statements, plus listing analytics alongside your inventory data.

Stop guessing what Etsy actually paid you

The difference between “sales” and “take-home” on Etsy is 13–15% of revenue. Most sellers reconcile that gap from a CSV — once a quarter, if at all.

Spreadsheet workflow

  • Export a CSV every month and hope you remembered to do it
  • Subtract fees by hand or with a fragile formula
  • Update Etsy quantities when stock changes — usually you forget
  • Oversell at peak season, refund customers, lose reviews
  • Discover at tax time that the “profitable” SKU is not

Ardent Seller workflow

  • Orders import automatically the moment they’re paid
  • Fees are captured as separate ledger lines, no math required
  • Inventory pushes back to Etsy on every stock movement
  • Profit & Loss reports show take-home margin, not gross sales
  • Schedule C exports include marketplace fees as a deduction

Built for Etsy’s API requirements, not retrofitted

The connector ships with the security primitives Etsy actually requires — and a few you don’t see until something goes wrong.

OAuth 2.0 with PKCE

Industry-standard authorization with the Proof Key for Code Exchange extension. You never share your Etsy password with us.

Encrypted at rest

Access and refresh tokens are stored with AES-256-GCM authenticated encryption. Compromised database snapshots leak nothing usable.

Idempotent webhooks

If Etsy retries a webhook event, Ardent Seller deduplicates it — orders never double-import, inventory never double-decrements.

Common questions

What sellers ask before connecting their first shop.

Does the Etsy connector cost extra?

No. The Etsy integration is included on every plan, including the free tier. There are no per-shop fees, no per-listing fees, and no separate add-on subscription required.

Will Ardent Seller stop me from overselling?

Yes. Ardent Seller pushes inventory counts back to Etsy whenever stock changes — after a production run completes, when you record a wholesale sale outside Etsy, or after a stocktake adjustment — so your Etsy listing quantities stay aligned with what you actually have on hand.

How do Etsy fees show up in my reports?

Each imported order includes its transaction fee, processing fee, and shipping cost as separate line items in the per-order ledger. Profit & Loss, Sales, and Schedule C reports automatically subtract those fees so the margin you see is the margin that hits your bank account.

Can I publish new listings to Etsy from Ardent Seller?

Yes. Once an inventory item is connected, you can publish a new Etsy listing from inside Ardent Seller — including images, tags, materials, and pricing — and update listing state from the same place. You stay in control of which items sync.

Is my Etsy connection secure?

The connector uses OAuth 2.0 with PKCE (no password sharing). Access tokens are encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM, and incoming webhooks are idempotent so duplicate events never double-count. Disconnect at any time from your Settings page or directly from Etsy.

Is Ardent Seller endorsed by Etsy?

No. The term "Etsy" is a trademark of Etsy, Inc. Ardent Seller uses the Etsy API but is not endorsed or certified by Etsy, Inc. Ardent Seller is solely provided by Ardent Workshop LLC.
