Affiliate Program Terms

These Affiliate Program Terms ("Affiliate Terms") govern participation in the Ardent Seller Partner Program (the "Program") operated by Ardent Workshop LLC ("we," "our," or "us"). The Program is administered through Lemon Squeezy, our payment provider. By being approved as an affiliate, you agree to these terms in addition to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

1. Commission

1.1 Rate. Approved affiliates earn 20% recurring commission on the net subscription revenue of each customer they refer who subscribes to a paid Maker, Artisan, or Workshop plan (monthly or annual). PAYG (usage-based) plans are excluded.

1.2 Recurring. Commission is paid for each month the referred customer remains a paying subscriber. Commission stops when the customer cancels, downgrades to a free plan, or moves to PAYG.

1.3 Cooling-off period and payout schedule. Earned commission is held in a pending state to cover Lemon Squeezy's 30-day refund window and chargeback reconciliation. Cleared commission is paid out on Lemon Squeezy's NET30 schedule: commission earned in a given month is paid on the 15th of the month two months later (for example, January commissions are paid on March 15). Refunded transactions reverse the corresponding pending commission automatically.

2. Attribution

2.1 Tracking window. Commission is attributed to the affiliate whose link was clicked within 30 days prior to the referred customer's first paid subscription. Last-click wins.

2.2 Self-referral disallowed. Affiliates may not earn commission on their own purchases or those of any account they control.

2.3 Cookie technology. Tracking is performed by Lemon Squeezy's first-party attribution. We also record the affiliate code in your browser's session storage to enable our referred-customer signup bonus.

3. Payouts

3.1 Minimum. Payouts are issued monthly once your cleared commission balance reaches $25 USD.

3.2 Payment methods. Lemon Squeezy supports PayPal and Wise. You configure your preferred method in the Lemon Squeezy Affiliate Hub. We do not handle payouts directly.

3.3 Tax forms. Lemon Squeezy issues tax forms (W-9 / 1099 for U.S. affiliates) when earnings cross applicable thresholds. You are responsible for the tax treatment of commission income in your jurisdiction.

4. Required disclosures

4.1 FTC compliance. Affiliates promoting Ardent Seller in the United States must clearly and conspicuously disclose their affiliate relationship on every promotional post per FTC guidelines. Acceptable formats include #ad, #sponsored, or a sentence such as "This post contains affiliate links — I may earn a commission at no cost to you."

4.2 International disclosures. Affiliates outside the United States must comply with their local advertising and consumer-protection rules.

5. Prohibited tactics

The following activities are grounds for immediate termination from the Program and forfeiture of unpaid commission:

  • Brand bidding. Bidding on "Ardent Seller", "ArdentSeller", "Ardent Workshop", or close variants in Google Ads, Bing Ads, or any paid search.
  • Impersonation. Implying you are Ardent Seller staff, support, or an official representative.
  • Spam. Unsolicited email, SMS, comment spam, forum spam, or community-rule-violating posts.
  • Fake reviews. Posting fabricated reviews on review sites, app stores, or social platforms.
  • Coupon and discount sites. Posting affiliate links on coupon aggregators or cashback sites unless approved in writing.
  • Trademark misuse. Using our logos or wordmark in domain names, app names, or in ways that imply endorsement.
  • Misleading claims. Stating features, pricing, integrations, or guarantees that do not exist or that we have not made publicly.
  • Cookie-stuffing. Any technical method that forces affiliate cookies without an explicit user click on your link.

6. Termination

6.1 By you. You may withdraw from the Program at any time by contacting us.

6.2 By us. We may suspend or terminate your participation, with or without notice, for breach of these terms, fraudulent activity, or any conduct we determine harms our brand or customers. Pending commission for the period prior to termination is paid out on the standard NET30 schedule described in §1.3 if no fraud is involved.

7. Modifications

We may amend these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated by email to the address on file with the affiliate program. Continued participation after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
